World Book Day & Romeo y Julieta Linea d’Oro Launching
Avanti-Group Co., Ltd. has partnered with the Exclusive Distributor of Habanos S.A. “Golden Phoenix” and collaboration with Pacific Cigar Company to celebrate the 27th anniversary of “World Book Day” and at the same time launch a new product line of one of the most prestigious Habanos Global Brands “Romeo y Julietta Línea de Oro” in the Vietnam market.
On April 23rd, La Casa del Habanos Ho Chi Minh located at 74B Hai Ba Trung, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, participated in activities to celebrate International Book Day, through the official network of La Casa del Habano worldwide.
Aim to help cigar smokers in Vietnam understand more about reading culture at Habanos factories in Cuba. As a tribute to the “lectores de tabaquería” who read cigars on this special day, excerpts from W. Shakespeare’s famous novel Romeo and Julieta will be read at La Casa del Habano – The first house of Cuban cigars in Vietnam.
The activity of “lectores de tabaquería” – Cigar Readers not only achieved widespread recognition as a National Heritage of Cuba but also aimed to achieve international recognition as an Intangible Heritage of UNESCO.
At the same time, the cigars of the Romeo y Julieta Línea de Oro brand were launched and widely introduced to Cigar Aficionados. At the party that night, we were honored with the presence of Cuban Consul General – Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada.
